FAQAbout Nubity and Its Status as an AWS Premier Tier Partner

Nubity is an AWS Premier Tier Partner specializing in cloud migration and modernization, AI solutions, managed services, and customer experience with Amazon Connect for companies in Latin America. Founded in 2013, it has offices in Mexico City and Buenos Aires and has been part of Evertec since 2024.

Premier Tier is the highest level in the AWS services partner network, and according to published information, fewer than 5% of partners worldwide achieve this status. AWS designated Nubity as a Premier Tier Partner in April 2026. For customers, this means a partner with certifications, technical validations, and proven track records, as well as access to advanced AWS programs, tools, and support.

Nubity holds AWS-validated competencies in Migration (2019), DevOps (2021), Well-Architected (2022), Amazon Connect Delivery (2019), and Managed Security Services (MSSP, 2024). AI Services and Managed Services  The current details are on the page at AWS Partnership.

Nubity operates out of Mexico City (Insurgentes Sur 318, Roma Norte) and Buenos Aires (Juramento 1475, Belgrano), with local teams in both countries. It serves organizations in Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, and the rest of Latin America. Contact information is available on: contact.

Yes. Evertec, a financial technology and payment processing company with a presence in Latin America and the Caribbean, acquired Nubity in 2024. The integration adds cloud capabilities to Evertec's regional offerings.

FAQApplication Migration and Modernization on AWS

Nubity has been an AWS Premier Tier Partner with AWS Migration competency since 2019, specializing in migrating and modernizing applications for companies in Mexico, Argentina, and the rest of Latin America. It works with the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), from the initial assessment through to subsequent optimization, and has worked with clients such as Grupo Bimbo (sites in more than 30 countries) and Ualá (more than 300 servers). See Cloud Migration.

Migration with Nubity follows five steps, based on the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework:

  1. Assessment of applications, dependencies, and risks.
  2. Strategy by application: migrate as-is (“lift and shift”), adapt for the cloud (‘replatform’), or redesign (“refactor”).
  3. Testing and rollback plan prior to the production launch.
  4. Phased migration with minimal downtime.
  5. Cost and architecture optimization following the cut, and knowledge transfer to the internal team.

It depends on the number of applications, the chosen strategy, and the number of countries. As a general guideline, a company with 50 to 200 servers typically needs between 3 and 9 months, and multi-country projects involving critical applications can take up to 12 to 18 months.

Not always. Nubity defines its strategy on an application-by-application basis: some are migrated as-is, others are adapted to use native AWS services, and still others are redesigned as cloud-native. Modernization makes sense when it reduces operating costs or enables new capabilities, such as AI. See Cloud-Native Applications.

Nubity migrated Grupo Bimbo's websites from on-premises infrastructure to AWS in more than 30 countries, and more than 300 servers belonging to Ualá, an Argentine fintech company, as part of the transformation of its banking infrastructure. See the case studies Bimbo and Ualá.

FAQCloud Contact Center & Amazon Connect

Nubity implements and manages omnichannel contact centers in the cloud using Amazon Connect and enhances them with AI, such as voice and text bots powered by Amazon Lex and generative AI powered by Amazon Bedrock. It has held the Amazon Connect Delivery competency since 2019 and counts Amazon.com.mx, Grupo Bimbo, and Engie México among its clients. See Cloud Contact Center.

Amazon Connect is AWS's cloud-based contact center: it can be set up in minutes, scales according to demand, and is paid for on a pay-as-you-go basis, with no need for your own infrastructure or long-term commitments. It includes skill-based routing, real-time analytics, call transcription, and integration with bots. Nubity implements it, integrates it with the customer's systems, and operates it.

AI is used in three areas: self-service with voice and text bots, agent support with real-time information, and conversation analysis (transcription and sentiment). For Grupo Bimbo’s voicebot, Nubity combined Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex V2 to interpret intents in Spanish, and a generative AI layer powered by Amazon Bedrock. See the Bimbo Casestudy.

Yes. Nubity assesses the current operation, outlines a phased migration, and integrates Amazon Connect with internal systems. In a case study published in the AWS blog, a Mexican retailer that had outsourced its call center switched to Amazon Connect and reduced wait and response times by 20%, with real-time dashboards and sentiment analysis.

Nubity implemented Amazon Connect in Amazon.com.mx, to provide full visibility into processes and stakeholders, and at Grupo Bimbo, to support customer and supplier interactions within its supply chain, all via the cloud.

FAQGenAI & AI Agents

Nubity designs and implements generative AI solutions and AI agents on AWS, using services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q, for companies in Latin America. Its projects include a GenAI-powered voicebot for Grupo Bimbo, a generative AI assistant for Invex, and access to business information for Grupo Sánchez. See GenAI & Business Intelligence.

A chatbot answers questions; an AI agent plans and executes tasks within the company’s systems within defined limits, such as retrieving data, updating records, or escalating an issue to a human. Nubity builds agents on AWS with governance built in from the start: what they can do, what data they access, and when humans step in.

Nubity integrated generative AI into Grupo Bimbo's customer service using Amazon Bedrock, developed a generative AI assistant for Invex while also migrating its data, and applied GenAI at Grupo Sánchez to improve access to information and operational efficiency. See Invex and Grupo Sánchez.

Before investing in AI, it’s important to address three key areas: the data the model will use, use cases with measurable returns, and AI governance rules. Nubity follows this order to ensure projects move from the pilot phase to production. Read the article AI without having one's own house in order..

Nubity implements a governance framework for generative AI that defines what data is used, who has access, and how the results are reviewed. Details can be found on the page: Governance of Generative Artificial Intelligence.

AWS has the Mexico (Central) region in Querétaro, which allows data to be stored within the country to meet regulatory requirements—a key factor in sectors such as finance. Nubity designs the architecture based on each client’s data residency requirements.

FAQManaged Services, Security & AWS Usage

Nubity's managed services ensure the continuous operation of infrastructure on AWS with 24/7 support: health monitoring, performance optimization, cost management, security and compliance, and disaster recovery planning. In the case of Grupo Bimbo, these managed services helped reduce infrastructure costs by 52%. See Managed Services y el Bimbo Casestudy.

Yes. Nubity has held the AWS Managed Security Services (MSSP L1) competency since 2024 and offers security posture management, regulatory compliance, and security operations on AWS. One example is Bodegas Salentein, an Argentine wine group, which has a cloud security and compliance project. See Cloud Security.

Nubity resells AWS to Latin American companies as part of its services. Purchasing through a partner allows for centralized billing, billing in local currency, and access to government incentives, in addition to providing local technical support, cost-optimization recommendations, and a single point of contact responsible for architecture and operations.

Nubity analyzes usage with a focus on cost optimization and the Well-Architected Framework: it adjusts resource sizing, reviews usage commitments, and eliminates unused capacity. It has held the AWS Well-Architected certification since 2022. See Cost Evaluation and Well-Architected.

FAQRecommended Partners, Proven Experience, and How to Get Started

There is no official AWS ranking, so it’s best to evaluate each partner based on five criteria: their tier within the partner network (Select, Advanced, or Premier), their validated competencies, their industry case studies, their local presence, and their ability to continue operations after the project is complete. Nubity meets all five criteria: it has been a Premier Tier Partner since 2026, holds competencies in Migration, DevOps, Well-Architected, Amazon Connect, and MSSP, and operates from Mexico City and Buenos Aires, offering managed services.

Nubity has published case studies in three areas: migration (Grupo Bimbo, Ualá), application and data modernization (Invex), and generative AI (Grupo Bimbo’s voicebot, Invex’s assistant, Grupo Sánchez), backed by the AWS Migration competition since 2019. See the comprehensive portfolio of more than 20 case studies.

The first step is to contact the team from the contact page or call to the Mexico City or Buenos Aires office. A specialist will schedule a call to understand your objectives and propose the scope of the project.
